Soap scum remover really works (see my July 22 post)

Tangerine juice does not taste as good as I thought it would.

Whoever created Elmo should be a bazillionaire. Seriously, why do toddlers like him so much?

A trip out to get ice cream at Sundaes at the Cottage or custard at Culver's cures any problem.

Wet clothes left in washer too long are not wearable upon drying (even after a double dose of dryer sheets ) no matter how much I try to convince myself that the smell is really not that bad.

Only having basic cable drastically limits my knowledge of what's happening in TV world.

It may take some time and effort, but you rarely should pay full price for anything (exhibit A is the stack of coupons and offers on my counter and please tell me why Bed Bath and Beyond is killing so many trees with their relentless pursuit of customers?)

A set of Legos will keep a previously bored 9-year-old boy busy almost the entire day.

Water fights are awesome when you are armed with the biggest and best gun...or...when you are the one holding the hose.

It's all fun and games until someone gets squirted in the eye.
