Confessions of a SAHM (Stay-at-Home-Mom)

I'm copying this topic from my good friend, neighbor, and fellow blogger, Laurie. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

Anyway...here are my confessions:

I trick my boys: After repeatedly suggesting that they use their shower towel more than once (how dirty can the towel be, the boys are clean?) and having zero response, I now take the dry towel (they all have their own color), fold it back up, and put it in the closet for next time. The towels eventually get washed, just not as often as the boys think! Guests, don't worry...we use separate towels for visitors!

Fending and hodge podge: If I am not able (or, quite frankly, not willing) to prepare a decent dinner, we will fend or do a hodge podge, which usually turns into scavenging through the pantry and fridge. Tuna, cocoa-wheats, mac-n-cheese, peanut butter english muffins, salsa and chips, chicken nuggets or leftovers is usually on the menu that night.

Pajamas are optional: For a while there, none of my boys wore pajamas. Instead, they would put on clean clothes at night after their shower and in the morning they were good to go! (A little wrinkly, but good to go!)

Paper vs. real: Paper plates have a coveted spot in my cupboard, right on top of the real ones.

Can you say Slacker Mom?
