Come Look at the Moon

After the boys went to bed last night I was trying hard to figure out how to do a slide show of the Chicago pictures to add to my blog. I had visions of using most of the good pictures, I took tons so I at least had some to choose from. I was even being ambitious and thinking ahead about what music I wanted playing in the background. I had just started and was getting settled in to what I needed to do. Scott hollers down, "you gotta come see this." You're kidding me...I'm just psyching myself up for at least an hour in the cold basement and I really wanted to finish. But, I climbed up the stairs thinking Scott wanted me to see Little Guy (aka Weston) sleeping like a cutie in his crib, like he does every night when we check on him. Scott says, "come outside." He then shows me a gorgeous, bright and beautiful crescent moon, just a sliver, lying low like a canoe, but the entire moon was still visible. It was way cool and well worth being taken away from my Chicago slide show that will now probably never happen!

What a romantic! Glad there was no backyard hanky panky under the moonlight since we are your backyard neighbors. ;)
