Spring Break in Chicago

The Baldwin Family took in loads of sights and activites in the Windy City this weekend. We crammed it all into 3 days. Here is the rundown:
  • Museum of Science and Industry including a glass exhibit, Omnivision movie about prehistoric sea monsters, and the highlight was the U505 German submarine
  • Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier...Weston was freaked out and cried almost the entire time!
  • Millenium Park
  • Sears Tower
  • Union Station
  • Children's Museum (mom and Weston)
  • Rolling Stones IMAX movie (dad and the older boys)
  • Shedd Aquarium with dolphin show
  • Warren Dunes on the way home

One attraction we don't ever have to visit is the American Girl Store!

wow! awesome photos! Looks like you guys had a really cool trip! I was going to e-mail you today and tell you to put down the dust rag- thinking maybe you were in overdrive getting ready for Jack's first communion... but I was too busy working my fingers to the bone cleaning out areas that noone will ever see when they come to celebrate Tom's first communion- at least God and I will be satisfied... (and probably the fish...) but instead of super-woman house cleaning (and not blogging) you were jaunting all over Chicago! It was worth the wait for an update!!! -Amanda

Amanda, I cleaned for my Easter guests, isn't that good enough? My cleanliness standards keep getting lower...for Jack's First Communion, as long as my floors are clean and the TV doesn't have nose prints on it, I'm good.

Tara, I'm finally getting used to my camera and it's been fun trying out all the settings. I did take a lot of pictures. I was going to try to do a slide show but lost my ambition last night.
